Our Story

A home built on the belief that every life still holds meaning.

CereVida began with a simple conviction: that the people we love do not disappear when memory fades. They are still here — still themselves — and they deserve a place that knows it.

Our founder holds a Master's degree in Gerontology and has spent her career specializing in dementia and memory care. Every detail of our home — from the scale, to the staff, to the rhythm of the day — is shaped by what the research, and the lived experience, of dementia care has taught her matters most.

A Registered Nurse is on staff and on call twenty-four hours a day. Care plans are clinically rigorous and personally tender. We measure success not in checklists, but in the quiet moments: a familiar song hummed along to, a long laugh at dinner, a sound night's sleep.

The name

Why CereVida?

Cere — derived from cerebrum, the largest part of the brain, responsible for memory, thought, emotion, personality, and the experiences that make each person unique. While memory may change over time, we believe a person's identity, dignity, and ability to experience joy never disappear.

Vida — the Spanish word for life. It represents vitality, purpose, connection, and the belief that every stage of life deserves to be lived with meaning, compassion, and fulfillment.

Together — honoring the mind while enriching life.

Our philosophy

We don't simply care for people — we celebrate who they are.

At CereVida, we preserve what matters most and help every resident continue living a life filled with dignity, purpose, and joy. Compassion elevates care — and that is the standard we hold ourselves to, every single day.
